Amy Christopher, PharmD, BCPS

Amy Christopher, PharmD, BCPS is responsible for teaching several subjects with a focus in pharmacology in the University of Dayton Physician Assistant program. Amy received her doctorate from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy in 1999. She has precepted healthcare professional students and residents for almost two decades. Additionally, she has certifications including Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist, Southwestern Indiana University Anticoagulation Certification, and the University of Kentucky Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Program. She has worked as a pharmacist in the retail and charitable pharmacy setting, home infusion, oncology and as an anticoagulation specialist. Amy organizes interprofessional volunteer opportunities for the underserved in Cincinnati and Dayton through homeless shelters, St. Vincent De Paul charitable pharmacy and St. Mary’s Development. Her research interest and publications involve anticoagulation, interprofessional education and drug interactions.
